The Bagpipes are an ancient instrument originating from the Middle East and the sound can travel for miles. It is said that the shepherds played the pipes while tending their flocks. It is written that the Levites were master musicians and that the Levites and Priests praised the Lord with Powerful Instruments. The very nature of the Bagpipes can enlighten you to its true purpose and being. As stated in the Tanya, "But when he blows with force, he blows from deep within himself. That breath embodies the internal power and life-force of the vivifying Soul." I wish to truly relate to you what I do, so that you may see what is unseen. I wish only to be a conduit, a Chariot, as explained in the Tanya and Zohar, everything comes from Hashem. I put all my Life Force and Soul into the Bagpipes, which then goes deep within those that are listening, to unlock the doors that nothing else will. To break down the walls and barriers that separate us from becoming One. The veil will be lifted and we shall see once again. The Sheep will hear the Shepherd's call and gather.
