- Born in Oxnard and now reside in Ventura, entertaining has been a constant joy in my life. MY BAND - Thanks to a friend, I have been fortunate to of entered a circle of some our area's finest musicians and have had a chance to play at some of Ventura & Santa Barbara's exclusive yacht and country clubs. In my current band: Pier101band, Anita (lead singer) and I have the honor to share the stage with the likes of: Trent Hinkforth (guitarist), Steve Ormond (keyboards & accordion), Ken Lewis (bass & vocals), Thai T. (drums) and Isidro (Rosie) Yanez (saxaphone). Each of them have mastered their instument and play on a professional level. THE BEGINNING OF A SOLO CAREER AND THE CAVE - It started in late 2012 when I had the opportunity to play at some of our local farmer's markets including the Channel Islands Farmers Market by the Channel Islands Harbor. That gig led to an opportunity to play at Ventura's best kept secret, The Cave. After a few gigs there, I was given the opportunity to become a full time regular to play every 2nd and 4th Saturday as a soloist.. The Cave in turn has given me an opportunity to expand my song list and strengthen my solo work and it has been a blast! Best kept secret is an understatment, the chefs are phenomenal and feature some of Ventura's tastiest cuisines. Add an extremely friendly wait staff and unique setting (in a cave), it has been a great honor to be apart of. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT - I will provide background conversation level sounds of: light rock, folk, oldies, Island feel music, My ideal setting to play would be background dinner music, cocktail hour, wine bars and parties. I have exceptional sound equipment and can adjust my sound level to suit practically any situation.
