Asala is a professional belly dance artist located in the Metro DC area and available for restaurant shows, corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, and other special occasions. Specializing in Egyptian-style dance with nine years of experience, her shows incorporate work with veil, sword, cane, and/or shamadan/candelabra. Asala can accommodate requests for either recorded music or live band accompaniment. Clients have the option to make the show interactive, allowing audience members to join in the dancing and learn a couple of fun moves for short segments of the performance. Asala is also available for personal instruction and group lessons.

Asala, is a wonderful young lady. She's very personable and friendly. She accommodated us when the venue was smaller than we expected, and we had a late start. When she began her show we were all enjoying her great performance and having a good time. Then she began to interact with us by inviting different people to dance with her, that took the fun to another level. It was a great night for our group (MCV) made possible by Asala. Hire her with confidence.
