Karavan dancers range in age from 13 to 70 and come from all walks of life! Some are hobbiests and many are professionals, but they are all the best trained belly dancers in South Texas and are requested to perform at events throughout the state. The dancers at Karavan are trained by Karen Barbee Adkisson - a dancer, teacher, and choreographer who tours the world performing and teaching her format of Middle Eastern dance instruction. Capable of putting on a full show for 15 minutes up to 2 hours, Karavan can be seen throughout San Antonio and the surrounding area at various restaurants, festivals, community events, and dance events.
