Nanette Blake Belly Dancer from New Orleans, LA

Nanette Blake focuses on a fusion belly dance style that blends years of belly dance training with ballet, jazz, and hip hop. She is known for her sword work, particularly dancing with two and four swords. She also enjoys zills and candle work and bringing some geek love/fun to her performances by choreographing routines to unexpected music, such as a dubstep version of Headwig's Theme from Harry Potter. She currently performs as a soloist and part of the duo Alchemy in Motion. She is available for solo performances in either style, featuring either classical/traditional Eastern music or modern songs, including pop music. She is willing to create a customized show to fit any theme. She is a certified under Belladonna's sword program and Ansuya "Bellydance Superstar" certified. She is willing to perform for free for charity events and fundraisers. She is available to perform in all over the Greater New Orleans area and within an hour traveling time from there.
