Fantastic! This group is stunning. They are extremely talented, proffesional and put on an unbelievably great show. I highly recommend this band! Approximately 20 members in this band and they are very organized and clearly know their business. Their male and female vocalist are both awesome. They will be the talk of our town for some time to come, I have already had several inquiries from folks who want Swing Machine for their next event(s). I would definitely hire them again!

The band delivered what I wanted, a great mix of traditional swing band dance music and contemporary "listening" jazz. Great soloists, and great vocals. Swing Machine is EXACTLY what they say they are, a group of professional musicians that sound like the samples that are posted on the web site. We will be using them on a regular basis in the club.

Laura and Swing Machine were very accommodating to the needs of this celebration. They geared the music to the audience; were attentive to the older generation at the Veterans' home where they played; and were wonderful to work with.

Swing Machine is the best kept secret in Northern Virginia.The 20 member band created an aura of celebration and joy at our parish picnic. Laura Suite and her husband Jeff were a delight to work with and were most accomodating.The band is a " must" for any event planner who is looking for a very classy, highly professional act.Their sound generated excitment and drew a lot of picnicers to the dance floor.Their performance is unbeatable and will surely be a memory maker for any event they play.

Swing Machine was wonderful!
They performed at our Flying Circus Museum fundraiser, and were a huge hit! Our event featured a swan-song performance by internationally respected airshow performer Charlie Kulp - The Flying Farmer. After his exhibition, the band invited him up for a special "Christmas in July" performance of "Santa Bring My Baby Home", complete with a Santa hat. The crowd loved it!
The band played under very trying outdoor conditions, over 100 degrees, and provided an atmosphere of the bygone days of Big Band music and WWII airplanes. We found out from talking with the band, that many members are also pilots! FANTASTIC BAND ! ! !

Swing Machine Band did a VERY professional job!
I required the band to record several rhythm tracks in advance, in addition to recording 7 complete charts. The band responded to my request by having the rhythm players at the studio by 11am for load in, with the rhythm tracks recorded by 2pm. I requested the entire band be ready to play by 3pm. They were on time.
I was very impressed by the band's ability to sight read difficult new charts we provided them at the studio, as well as the charts we provided them in advance of the recording session.
Their ensemble sound is professional, and they have remarkable solo talent on every chair.

From our first interaction Swing Machine (SM) was the most accommodating, professional, thorough band we could ever have hoped for. They are phenomenally warm people who wanted nothing more than to ensure our wedding was everything we dreamed it could be. When I say we were blown away by their sound, live, it is an understatement. SM is a rare phenomenon- a group of exceedingly talented individual musicians who, as a whole, are even better! Our guests are still raving about SM! We could not have been more impressed with the musicians or the great managers, Laura and Jeff. Swing Machine made our wedding the most amazing, memorable night ever.

Swing Machine was absolutely wonderful! Laura, the band manager, was a pleasure to work with and helped everything go so smoothly! She provided a fabulous trio to play during cocktails and dinner. Guests were very complimentary of the band, and danced all night! I've hired other bands in the past, but none can compare to Swing Machine. The players are so talented and it's obvious all of them really love what they do. The band is nothing short of amazing! Worth every penny! If you ever have the chance to see one of their live shows, don't miss it! I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them to anyone wanting to hire a band!

All I can say is that I waited a very long time to hear this band, the night our group got to hear them I made the comment "I was like a kid waiting on Santa Claus" in front of the band and they did not let us down. The entire band is PHENOMENAL!!! If you have the chance to book this group DO IT!!! You will not regret the decision, worth every penny spent.

A wonderful group that was extremely talented and accommodating! We were seeking a nice but fairly modest wedding reception, and they were able to meet our hopes perfectly, with a trio for 2 hours and DJ service for two hours. All the musicians were excellent, and we heard many compliments on both the live and DJ music. Only reason for not all 5s was some occasional communications trouble when planning -- but I recognize the main organizer does have a "day job," and so some delays in communications are expected. But overall, a wonderful experience, and would definitely recommend this talented group!

We use Swing Machine on the first Thursday of every month at our dinner club in Alexandria, as we are looking to develop a "listening-oriented" week night crowd. Swing Machine is unique as big bands go, as they are not limited to just traditional "big band" music. The dinner crowd loves the music the band plays for us, and is developing a regular following. Our dinner club regularly hosts nationally known performers such as the Glenn Miller Orchestra - among others - and the quality of Swing Machine is equal to any of the nationally-known acts we bring in. We look forward to the band performing every month!

This is the second year running we have had Swing Machine perform at our annual event in Baltimore. Like last year, Swing Machine played great music from start to finish. The band was able to deal with the small schedule changes that happened, due to the awards presentation running later than expected, and the band leader accommodated several song requests by the association officers. The guests danced all evening, and really enjoyed the variety of music Swing Machine played. Great job and thanks for such an enjoyable evening!
