Greetings from New Braunfels' friendly little neighborhood Blues Band. "Blues Like It Usta Wuz" is a 2-man Acoustic / Electric Blues Duo featuring Rudy "DaRoosta" on Guitar, Harmonica & Vocals, and Kris Huber on Lead Guitar & Vocals. This band specializes in Classic, Traditional and Contemporary Blues, from the ‘20’s, 30’s, ‘40’s & ‘50’s through to present day contemporary Blues. They have a full sound and deliver very lively, energetic shows that we're certain your customers will enjoy. Over the past two years, Blues Like It Usta Wuz has played over 200 shows in South & Central Texas, in the Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Fredricksburg, Wimberly, Boerne, and San Antonio area. They have expanded their area of operations as far south as Corpus Cristi, and are working on breaking into the Houston area soon. Blues Like It Usta Wuz live shows are always presented with a historical perspective. They are very family-friendly and a true crowd pleaser with great Chicago-style Blues and West Coast Swing, along with elements of Jazz, R&B and old time Rock 'n Roll. Blues Like It Usta Wuz is a Member-in-good-standing of the Americana Music Association, Texas Blues & Jazz Society, Austin Blues Society, San Antonio Blues Society, and we are Associate/Partner Members of the Blues Foundation, the International Home of The Blues, in Memphis. The band is available Fridays, Saturdays (afternoons or evenings) and Sundays (afternoons or evenings), and charge a flat rate of $250 for a 3-hour show consisting of two 90-minute sets with a very short break between set.
