BlueSwitch is a four piece blues band steeped in the rich traditions of Chicago Blues. Many Blues artist, (Little Walter, Big Walter Horton, Muddy Waters) came to northern cities during "The Great Migration", none of which were greater than Chicago. There was work there and for many Black folks a welcome sense of respect. The BlueSwitch sound is a living, breathing tribute to the legends, Marion Jacobs, Walter Horton, Howl Wolf, John Lee Williamson to mention a few. The Band has some of their own blues stories, forged from dockside bars, farmers markets and backroad gigs across New England Based on The island of Martha's Vineyard, booked all over New England and beyond.
