The Buffalo Blues Trio celebrates the rich history of American Blues music focusing on great female artists from the 1920,s -the 1960’s like Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Big Mama Thornton, and Janis Joplin. Featuring Ramon Marc Butler on guitar and harmonica, Diane Bock on bass, and sultry soulful vocals by Michele Murphy. These songs all tell a story, and although the blues can be sad, humor is very much a part of the tales that bind us together as humans, everybody gets the blues, and these songs remind us how we can heal and smile and even laugh during hard times, through the power of music. We are a great band for a seated show, we play songs you can dance to, and we work fine as background music as well. We’re happy to provide a list of songs we cover as well as videos of various performances. We have our own PA.
