Tom A. Grimes, former lead singer and lead guitarist with The Grimes Alley Blues Band and Grimes Alley acoustic duo, has relocated to the North Kentucky/Cincinnati area from Florida and is now accepting bookings as a solo artist. Tom plays a blend of music from the 60's (and earlier), 70's, 80's, and 90's to current and specializes in classic blues, classic rock, country rock and rockabilly. The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, The Band, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton and many others are in his set lists. I have had the opportunity to participate in many great events with the Grimes Alley acoustic duo and The Grimes Alley Blues Band in the last decade. We had the chance to open for Sister Hazel at the 2014 Rhythm & Ribs Festival in St. Augustine and The Marshall Tucker Band at the 2016 Rhythm & Ribs Festival, opening for The Pat Travers Band at a private New Year's Eve Party in 2014, performing with Jon Butcher in 2017 as part of a corporate booking as well as multiple bookings at the House of Blues, Blues Kitchen. We had the opportunity to play at many Harley-Davidson events as well as many Art and Music Festivals including six Winter Garden Music Fest's from 2011 through 2016 (event since cancelled) among other things. We kicked off the City of Winter Garden's Red, White & Blue Weekend from 2018 through 2024 (excluding 2020 & 2021 for Covid). We also headlined at the City of Oviedo's Great Day in the Country event for four years.
