Kung Fu Funky is an upbeat private party band from Pittsburgh's south hills, with an emphasis on good times. You choose between the genres of Soul, R&B, Blues, Jazz and Bebop; and the band creates a custom setlist. You choose the band's location; and the band sets up and performs, making that location the place to be. The core of the band consists of Jason Johnson (drums/vocals), Evan Eggert (lead guitar/vocals), and Jonah Petrelli (bass guitar). The group may include a variety of other professional musicians, with considerations made to the space, client requests, and the nature of the event. Choose this band for events with with 50 to 500 guests. Kung Fu Funky provides its own sound reinforcement, finds the optimal acoustics in a room, and will always maintain a comfortable volume for your guests. Stage, dancefloor, lighting and fog, can all be provided upon request.
