The Bon Temps Brass Band is a rowdy group of musicians from New Orleans and around the country who presently reside in NJ/NYC metro market. They aren't a band with a horn section – they're a Horn Band with an awesome rhythm section. Members of the Bon Temps Brass Band have played with, or shared billing with, the likes of Kermit Ruffins, Billy Hector, Leo Nocentelli, Zydeco-a-go-go, New Orleans Jazz Vipers, The Wild Bohemians, Norman Taylor, The Red Stick Ramblers, Ginger Coyle, Treme' Brass Band and others. They present 10 experienced professional musicians to the stage who love what they do - and it shows
The Bon Temps Brass Band delivers you to Mardi Gras and back from the first note to the last encore. They lay down some nice impov and engage audiences with their high energy presence. They play Jazz and Blues tunes from N'Wallins with a tightness that defies their “Pick Up Band” appearance. With tunes from “When the Saints Go Marching In” to “Miserlou”, they have been known to knock the shirts of their audiences. They also like delivering tunes outside the N'Wallins genre as a surprise.
Warning: Exposure to the Bon Temps Brass Band has been known to have certain side effects that include, but aren't limited to, uncontrolled dancing, feeling like an extra on the set of Girls Gone Wild, hallucinogenic sensations and a manic desire to crash the stage and sit in. If you are pregnant, think you're pregnant or plan to get pregnant you'll pass a good time with the Bon Temps Brass Band. Do not operate any heavy machinery while listening to the Bon Temps Brass Band. It is OK to drink in moderation with the Bon Temps Brass Band. Certain restrictions may apply.
