LIFTOFF BRASS BAND is revitalizing the New Orleans "brass band" sound, including Wayne & Steve on trumpets, Martin on saxophone, Dave & Stephanie on trombones, Tuba Alix on Sousaphone, Vince on drums, and a host of guests including B3 organ and Vocalists. From a power funky-brass quartet to a three-horn frontline, and with a host of original arrangements/compositions reflecting a large vision, Liftoff Brass band ranges freely across the New Orleans landscape without losing grip of the New York groove. Influences from Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong to James Brown to Rebirth to Dirty Dozen Brass band, the music of Liftoff Brass inspired by the greats hailing from New Orleans. Members have performed with with the top performers in music, including Prince!
