Known for putting a new swing on traditional New Orleans music the band has been dazzling crowds locally in New Orleans and abroad. With their energy and charisma, the Red Wolf Brass Band brings jazz music back to it's root which was dance music. Some of the band's performances consist of French Quarter Festival, Satchmo Festival, Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF), Treme Creole Gumbo Festival, Bayou Boogaloo Music Festival, Mello Mushroom's Larry Fest, weddings parties and parades The Red Wolf Brass Band released their debut cd entitled “7th Period”. The cd consisted of timeless New Orleans' classics to original music by the Red Wolf Brass Band and has special guest Shamarr Allen, Tannon Williams of the Brass-A-Holics, Erion Williams and Paul Robertson of the Soul Rebels and more. Since that time the band has been doing seminars and workshops on New Orleans' culture and of course giving people what they want A TASTE OF NEW ORLEANS!!!!

Red was just perfect for my sister's 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Family from coast to coast came to the party and when Red marched in the room, the place went crazy. Those familiar with jazz bands started second lining and it didn't take long for everyone else to grab a napkin and join in. Familiar jazz band tunes and some good ole "who dat!" added a perfect touch to the party. They were on time, right on in talent and played 30 minutes of fun!

Being Chicagoans, we were extremely happy and had a wonderful experience. We were pleased to know that the Grand Marshall has Chicago ties. I requested some Midwest music and the band came through. Our Theme song was Do What you Wanna and the Band made sure we did!!!!

This awesome group performed for our group of high school students as part of our efforts to learn about culture and music. They were knowledgeable, professional, and extremely charismatic. They played a variety of songs in different styles and taught us a little bit about the culture and history as they went. It was great to see such a diverse band in every way to hear from the performers about their stories. I would book them again in a heartbeat!
