Bossa5 has been a favorite in the NYC/New Jersey area for over a decade, putting a modern twist on Bossa Nova (Jazz Samba,) spiced with Latin Jazz and jazz standards. The band has done it all, playing at clubs, restaurants, hotels, festivals and private events — from small gatherings to large galas. Bossa5's standard lineup is a 5-piece band: vocals/keyboard, sax/flute, guitar, bass, drums. The band can offer a smaller configuration or scale up, as the venue requires. Bossa's catchy melodies, syncopated rhythms and lush harmonies are perfect for restaurants or cocktail hour, and the band can add percussionists, dancers/dance instructors to get your people up and moving at larger events or parties!

Our whole backyard was levitated on a cloud of sumptuous music, compliments of Bossa5! Each musician is NY-nightclub-excellent in his own right : Yutaka (drums), John (bass), Martin (guitar), Toni (vocals/keyboard/percussion), and their fearless leader Marc (sax/flute/percussion). We were looking for a band that plays Brazilian music since my husband is from Brazil, and they far exceeded our expectations. The music is totally danceable, but also great to stop and listen to, to soak in the high level of musicianship. We hope they're available next summer. I would highly recommend this band to take your event to the next level. They made our gathering magical.

Marc and the band were terrific. From the start, Marc was very accommodating and quickly understood what we were looking for and he made adjustments where necessary. We had people from age 6 to 90 and everyone had an amazing time and loved Toni's impromptu dance lessons! Definitely a night to remember and in large part to the band. Thanks again, I highly recommend them.
