I have a first degree in Mass Communication and a Master's degree in Mass Communication. This means that I have extensive knowledge of Print Journalism, Broadcasting, Advertising, and Public Relations. In addition, my career has spanned all of those areas as I have had stints in Newspaper and Magazine Journalism, Broadcasting and Film, Advertising and Public Relations.With my knowledge of Journalism and Public Relations, it means that I can effectively plan well-structured Communication campaigns that can effectively deliver on set objectives.
Also with the knowledge and skills derived from Journalism and Public Relations profession it means that I can effectively deploy such tools like Press Releases, Features Stories, Editorials, Press Conferences as part of a planned and sustained Public Relations campaign designed to meet specific objectives.In addition, I have extensive knowledge and understanding of Marketing and Advertising derived from my years as an Advertising practitioner during which I helped to develop appropriate strategy for many successful Advertising campaigns for over 25 years.I have also been involved in public speaking over twenty years.
Furthermore, in the course of my career I have actively been involved in various aspects of Marketing,brand management and development. I have been actively involved in consumer insights generation; brand strategy development; Market development strategy; brand essence development; Brand promotion; Market segmentation; Product development; Product management and Promotions.
In addition, in the last twenty five years I have had extensive experience as part of the team that developed Marketing strategy and manage such multinational brands like Cadbury, MTN, Microsoft, Dunlop/Goodyear tyres and Guinness. I believe that with my knowledge and experience I will make a positive and lasting impact on your brand or your event by bringing valuable insights on every process or stage. Currently I am pursuing a doctorate degree in Marketing at the North Central University in Prescott Valley, Arizona, USA.This program has deepened my insights and expertise in Marketing Management and Marketing principles.
