Christmas PartyReviewed on April 17, 2024From Lake Jackson, TX

We booked caricature artist Bonnie Blue for our annual Christmas party. She arrived early and was set up and ready to go when our guests arrived. Everyone loved her Rock portraits! She is fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend her!

Baby ShowerReviewed on February 12, 2013From Dickinson, TX

Wow! Bonnie Blue (The Rock Lady) is a famous folk artist here in Houston for good reason: she was not only a surprise addition to my party, adding that "artsy" touch, but her caricatures were charming and accurate. I was very impressed that she set up all her paints and rocks ahead of time without any help from my hostesses and made her workspace look great. Everyone enjoyed meeting her (we've seen her on TV and in the Art Car Parades) and watching her work so quickly. Plus I felt that she went over and beyond the job by accommodating several requests (like painting mother and daughter on one rock). I'm glad I found her on your website!

She did a marvellous job of making a rock caricature for all of our guests.

CelebrationReviewed on March 13, 2015From Houston, TX

She is talented and cranked out as many caricatures as possible during a 3 hour event. Our clients loved taking the wine bottles home with their faces drawn on the label. It was a great departing gift and I would recommend the idea for any party.

Christmas PartyReviewed on December 4, 2012From Humble, TX

The rocks were a neat idea but the drawings on paper were just as good as my 8yr old and she was rude to my guest.

:

It saddens me to read this bad review, I have painted thousands and Thousands of people on rocks, each time they leave with a huge smile on their face and in theIr heart when I tell them THEY ROCK!!! UNFORTUNATELY most people dont take the time to write a review saying how much they LOVE their rock, but only one unhappy one can destroy years of good hard appreciated work. I have had my rock caricatures featured on Tv, newspapers, magazines, over and over again, I know my work is good because of the massive good response i have had about it, thank you, Bonnie Blue

It was okay. The caricatures all looked a bit the same. People really liked the rocks though.

I feel I must respond to this. I never took a break in the 4 hours cause I wanted everyone to have an opportunity to get a rock done. Not one time did I see an unhappy person after I painted them. Tgey all loved their rocks and thanked me over and over. Nobody ever left without smiling. I cannot for the life of me figure out what more I could have done. And they did not all look alike. That's just not true You can look On my website womenthatrocks.com and see I don't do any two rocks alike This is unfair and I feel I must stand behind my integrity as an artist and a professional.

EventReviewed on February 7, 2017From Houston, TX

I thought she'd have a Big Display sign on Easel attract attention to herself. it worked out good. I had even mentioned bringing a sample of her painted boots. I was a tad disappointed that when her time was up she packed up and didn't check to see if I wanted her to stay over. I'm really not sure on special requests -- I'd have to ask everyone at party. Several guests were pleased with their drawings. Thank you,
