Traditional LIVE Caricatures OR Silhouettes, that truly make people happy! Your guests will be charmed and AMAZED when you invite caricature/silhouette artist Emily Byrne to your party, whether it's in real life or virtual! ! It's so much fun to watch spot-on, yet light-hearted likenesses emerge from her pen or scissors, in only minutes per face. Caricatures or silhouettes are double the value for your entertainment budget; they're not only a unique, customized live art experience---but Emily's artwork's are also the party favor that your attendees will treasure forever! For live events, choose caricatures OR silhouettes, she only does one art form at a time, as they require different set-ups and supplies. For virtual events, since she is in her own art studio, you can combine the two. Please click on my VIDEOS above to SEE just how much fun live caricatures and silhouettes can be! :-D CARICATURES: Emily has caricatured everyone from newborns to one-hundred-year-olds...and is proud of her 20+ years of professional experience at all types of events, from casual to formal. She is known for her super-specific, uncanny likenesses! She draws approximately 12-14 faces per hour in shaded B&W, OR 18-20 faces per hour without the shading. She uses archival ink markers, and quality heavyweight paper. Each drawing gets its own plastic sleeve. As an award-winning Gold member of the International Society of Caricature Artists, Emily is passionate about her craft. At events, her clients remark that they can plainly see how much she enjoys what she does for a living--putting smiles on faces, both literally and figuratively! SILHOUETTES: Emily has mastered the amazing-to-watch, historic skill of freehand silhouette cutting--no drawing is involved at all, she just looks at each subject and cuts an accurate profile, capturing the essence of each person, in a minute or two! The delightful result then is pasted to a customized-for-your-event 5 x 7 card and placed in a clear plastic sleeve for your guests to take home and treasure. She can cut 18-20 faces per hour. There are only a handful of silhouette artists working events in the world today! VIRTUAL: Keeping up with the times now means servicing clients anywhere via Zoom and other virtual platforms. Emily can draw 6-7 faces per hour in color, and 8-9 in B/W, using her Wacom Intuos and Macbook Pro. All bookings include a logo or title of your event on your backgrounds, if desired. Emily can also design pre-drawn bodies and backgrounds, or make a composite group caricature after your event, for an additional fee. You can see the drawing grow as Emily looks at her subjects in a Zoom window. Or, Emily can cut silhouettes the same way, as subjects sit in profile for her anywhere in the world! Delivery is via Dropbox after the event. There is a two-hour minimum for all live events; however for wedding receptions and further-away gigs, there is a three-hour minimum. For virtual events there is a one-hour minimum. Emily also carries event liability insurance if your venue requires it. She is vaccinated and double-boosted against Covid 19 and will be happy to wear a mask if she, the client or the venue decides it's prudent.
