Planning an event is stressful. You want your guests to have a great time. You want people laughing, mingling, and making memories—not sitting around checking their phones and wondering when it’s time to leave. And if you’re spending money on entertainment, you want something people will actually remember. That’s where I come in. I’m Kathy Buskett, a professional caricature artist with 27 years of experience, including high-volume events in Las Vegas and some of the largest corporate events in the world. But here’s what matters most: I don’t just draw pictures. I create moments. Throughout the event, guests gather around my easel, laugh together, cheer each other on, and watch as blank paper transforms into a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Even people waiting nearby become part of the experience. The reactions are my favorite part: “I love this!” “That looks exactly like me!” “Can I get another one?” And unlike many party favors that get left behind or thrown away, guests take these home and keep them. One concern I hear all the time is: “I don’t want a mean caricature.” Neither do I. My style is fun, flattering, and recognizable. People look like the best version of themselves—not the punchline of a joke. Another common concern is long lines. Because I’ve been drawing professionally for nearly three decades, I can draw approximately 20–30 guests per hour, helping more people participate while keeping lines moving.
