Charles Treadwell is a professional cartoonist with over forty years of experience, including a number of years with the Rubio Artists group, the first vendor to partner with Walt Disney Studios to provide quick sketch caricature and portraiture for Disneyland California, and later, Disneyworld Florida. Charles also developed the hit alternative comic book Scratch in 1983, at the forefront of the direct distribution comic book market that gave birth to The Teen-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles, Elfquest, and many others. Charles also supplied storyboards and pre-production concept art for programing produced at Universal film Studios Florida, including work on Super Force, Swamp Thing and Superboy. Now residing in Beaverton, Oregon, Charles continues to educate and entertain through design, quick sketch cartoon portraiture and sequential story telling.
