I draw caricatures in a realistic style, and capture the beauty and essence of each person. At a party, each person (or couple) is asked about his/her favorite activity, sport or hobby. I have visual knowledge of popular sport team uniforms and the various positions played. Using 11 by 14 inch white paper, I draw a full-face caricature in the requested pose, with markers, shading in with color pencil sticks and pastels.I place the finished work in a clear plastic envelope. I can do 10/hr in full color; 12/hr in blk/wht. I have a 2 hour minimum. I work at bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16s, communions, surprise birthday parties, graduations, office parties etc. In my studio I design caricature sign-in books , sign-in boards and gifts based on photos provided by my clients.I have been drawing caricatures at parties and events for the past 40 years and am still going strong. I have a BFA from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and have studied portrait painting at the Art Students League in New York City. I started drawing caricatures while I was still a student and have always gravitated to it no matter what other form of art I happened to be involved with, be it Textile design or Fine Art painting.
