drawn 2 Draughn Caricaturist from Carrollton, VA

I've been drawing my whole life—but zeroed in on caricatures more than 20 years ago when working a summer job at an amusement park during my final college years studying animation. I graduated from VCU and since I love drawing and meeting new people so much, I just haven't stopped creating caricatures! I'm a member of the International Society of Caricature Artist (ISCA) and I've loved continuing to learn how to sharpen my skill-sets and push myself out of my comfort zone. I've worked a variety of events such as birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, retirement parties, corporate events, holiday parties, and as part of the summertime entertainment acts on Virginia Beach's "Live! On Atlantic," drawing caricatures for all those willing to sit in "the hot seat." I average drawing about 20-30 folks an hour when drawing the classic black-and-white head and shoulders caricatures of individuals and groups. The results vary from awww-inducing sighs of cutie-babies to slap-the-knees hysterical of those with fantastic personalities. I've even gotten the pleasure of drawing our four-legged friends and I just love a boopable nose. Caricatures continue to be a real draw (pun intended), general crowd pleaser, and a fantastic keepsake for recipients.
