Jane Yamada has been creating art her entire life. During college she majored in Illustration at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and now resides in Denver, Colorado. She has been a prestigious children's book illustrator since the 1980's and has a bountiful portfolio of published illustrations. Her clients included Disney, Sesame Street, Mattel Toys, Scholastic Publishing and many more. Jane is passionate about art and creativity and feels blessed being able to make a living creating art. Her caricatures are often described as adorable and flattering. She has drawn at numerous events and her quality of artwork matches her professionalism. Jane is amazing!! Arrived early to set up and she went straight to drawing. So many of my guests complimented Jane. She waa the highlight of the event! Everyone loved her art style! She made sure to take care of me and I so so appreciate her! Highly recommend Jane ??????

Jane was terrific and such a joy to work with! She arrived on time, was very professional, and super responsive with communication. Her drawings were delightfully fun and spot-on. She was also very friendly and really connected with our guests. She was the big hit at our event and everyone absolutely loved her work! Booked Jane for our fall festival. We printed posters and banners promoting her attendance as a great activity for the family. She confirmed the details months in advance and then no showed. I emailed her as the event was starting trying to figure out where she was and got no response. She finally called an hour after the event ended and left a message with my husband with zero excuse, just "sorry I wasn't there". Maybe there was an emergency, maybe she got sick, maybe there was a miscommunication. I don't know. All I know is I was counting on her being there and she wasn't.
