Hey! Thanks for checking me out. I am a professional caricaturist (cartoon portrait artist) with over 35 years of experience. I started my career at the age of 14 drawing courtroom sketches for newspapers. By 17 I was employed as a portrait artist at an Carowinds Amusement Park near Charlotte NC. Since then I've completed my studies at the Ringling College of Art in Sarasota Florida and pursued my freelance art career. I've been especially successful as a caricature artist for parties and live events. I am a witty, 'happy go lucky' guy who loves people. In my drawings I strive to flatter my subjects instead of insult them. I draw caricatures the way I would want to be drawn if I were the model. Kids love me! I've been very fortunate to have worked for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Topps Comics, Coca-Cola, The Ritz Carlton, Pet Smart, Amoco Oil, Delta Airlines and just about everybody else plus the little old lady down the street. I do everything between big corporate gigs like conventions and the Super Bowl to small Birthday parties for toddlers. I can work from life or from photos and travel outside my local area is never a problem. I've worked from The Atlantis in the Bahama's to a small artist booth in Boothbay Harbor Maine. I'm easygoing and affordable plus as a teacher at the Ringling College of Art for over 30 years, I'm vaccinated, background checked, kid friendly and Mother Approved. Any Questions?
