Your Caricature Co. was founded by lead caricature artist Melita Lewis, in 2006.
The company now includes Melita and a small group of talented artists available to draw caricatures at parties and events in and around greater New England and beyond. 

Caricatures will liven up any event. One might even say "We draw a crowd ! "It is fun to be drawn and just as fun to watch your friends get transformed into a cartoon before your very eyes ! Our professional artists work quickly to draw your guests in under a few minutes each. 

All our artists have over 5 yrs experience in the art of entertaining drawing caricature portraits. 
We also offer skilled Temporary Tattoo artists, Face Painters, Silhouette Artists, and Henna Tattoo Artists.

We also now offer caricatures at weddings. Wedding packages come with a custom drawing of the couple.

ALL NEW 2020 NOW OFFERING VIRTUAL CARICATURE PARTIES ! 
Here are some new options which can help make your events possible within the new social distance guidelines.  

#1 My Pop up Pod: A great temporary solution for local/small/outdoor jobs. My new little pod essentially allows me to work inside a bubble, keeping guests isolated from me, and me from them. Guest sit across from my pod facing my plastic window. Masks may be removed when it's time to draw those smiles. Masks and 6ft social distances will be strongly encouraged at all other times. The good news is, that even with all these restrictions, I am able to draw caricatures in person, more or less, as I did before.  My pod can be placed pretty much anywhere, as long as there is shade and good ventilation. 
My pod works great for spontaneous driveway parties, parking lot employee appreciation events, social distance birthday parties, small corporate and college campus events. Bonus: It also keeps the drawings safe and dry from the surprise summer sprinkle. Book your socially distanced event today !


#2: Digital Caricatures from photos
We've already been rolling strong with this one! Several Colleges and High Schools ordered bulk caricatures from photos in lieu of having live events last spring.  It has been a win-win so far! Since there is no exact start and end time, I am able to draw hundreds of people ahead of time. The digital drawings are uploaded to one fun web page, for downloading and sharing. Printed copies are also available to be delivered to your door. The students and parents of this year's 2020 Grads, were so pleased and surprised, they are considering doing the same thing next spring, covid or not. 

#3: Zoom Meeting
Looks as though 2020 is sizing up to be a fast track to our digital future.  At this point most of us have experimented with some kind of video conferencing for work or school. Adding caricatures to your virtual event or meeting can really add to the fun factor.  I can join in your zoom meeting and draw your participants one by one. Drawings can then be shared directly to participants online.  Or I can print them up and ship them to you.  

As we know, Zoom is also a great platform for learning.  Caricature Drawing Workshops and lessons are also available. If you have a group eager to learn a unique skill, I would love to instruct on "how to draw a simple caricature".  Workshops are super fun for any age group.

She was the highlight of the party! Everyone loved both her and her work. She would be a fabulous addition to any event!

Melita was absolutely amazing. Everyone at our wedding enjoyed this special touch as a unique way to do a wedding favor. She was so accommodating and so great with all of our guests, everyone loved her!  We had a line pretty much the whole night to see her because everyone wanted pictures done together!  She was super accommodating when it came to overtime as well and super willing to stay to help and we were so grateful for that! I would book again with her in a heartbeat! These guys are great. They were on time and didn't leave until everyone was drawn. The artist DR did a great job fulfilling our request of drawing all of the guests on baby bodies!! All the guests had an amazing time.

Melita is great!!! She is very talented, engaging, reliable and accommodating, and really enjoys her craft. Her studious, unhurried approach made each guest at our party feel special.
