I'm Zach, a self-taught private chef on the Westside of LA and the founder of Smoke & Sol. Barbecue is where I started and what I've cooked the longest, and smoke and char are the backbone of everything I make, even my most refined plates. On that foundation I build California-led, produce-forward menus, seasonal and market-driven, then layer in the flavors of my travels through Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, South Korea, and North Africa. I design fully custom multi-course dinners in homes and vacation rentals and handle everything myself: menu design, sourcing, cooking on-site, plated service, and a spotless kitchen when I leave.
