Sierra Harp & Cello Duo Chamber Music Duo from Reno, NV

The Sierra Harp & Cello Duo brings together the lush sounds of the cello combined with the richness of the harp. Long-time friends and professional musicians, Emily and Eileen, carefully select each piece and arrange it with care to bring out the best of both instruments. Based in Reno, the duo performs as far as Mammoth Mountain to the south, Grass Valley to the West, and all around the greater Reno area including Truckee and Lake Tahoe. Emily received her Bachelor's of Music in Harp Performance from Manhattan School of Music, and her Masters of Music in Harp Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Eileen received her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from University of Nevada, Reno, her Master of Music in Cello Performance from University of Colorado, Denver, and her Doctor of Musical Arts from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
