New England Clarinetist Woodwind Ensemble from Burlington, MA

Gina DePaoli is a classically trained woodwind player. Her main instrument is clarinet. She also plays flute and alto saxophone. She has much experience in theatre productions in chamber ensembles. She performed with The Concord Band in Concord, MA from 1997-2010 and has served as Secretary of The Concord Band Board of Directors from 1997-2006. She was a featured soloist with the band in October of 2004. She also performs throughout Massachusetts with various musical theatre companies and chamber ensembles. Some of these groups and companies include Newton Playhouse, Exit Stage Right, Publick Theatre, and Concord Players (all in MA) and Actorsingers in New Hampshire. Gina is a founding member of "Patschwork," New Englands' first professional level Orff-Schulwerk performance ensemble, which had its debut performance in December of 2004, and at the American Orff Schulwerk Association Conference in Omaha, Nebraska in November of 2006. Gina earned a Double Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Clarinet Performance from The Boston Conservatory 1994 and a Master of Education in Creative Arts in Learning at Lesley College in 1998. She has completed 3 Levels of Orff Schulwerk studies. A multicultural interest has made traveling especially rewarding. Gina has traveled to Italy, Belize, England, Greece, Russia, Canada and throughout the United States. Her ability to figure out some Italian on her own during her trip to Italy in 2004 inspired her study Italian. Gina has also been maintaining her Spanish speaking skills since high school. Gina is a member of the Boston Musicians' Association.
