Clarity Brass is Northern NJ's newest and most exciting brass ensemble. Consisting of 2 trumpets, french horn, and trombone, this versatile group of musicians are some of the top in the area. Our musicians have performed on Broadway (Chicago, Nice Work if You Can Get It, After Midnight, Motown, Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll and Hyde, the Lion King, and others), as well as in the best jazz and classical ensembles in the world (Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr, Count Basie Orchestra, Opera Company of Boston, Boston Pops, Philadelphia Orchestra, Chelsea Opera Orchestra, Sphinx Festival Orchestra, Musica Bella Orchestra, and others). We offer a completely customized program for your event, whether it's a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, private party, or other event. Our staff arranger will be happy to arrange any song for your event, from classical works not originally for brass ensembles to jazz, r&b, pop, and other radio hits. Our ever expanding repertoire will allow you to hear the music you want to hear at your event! When booked, Clarity Brass will work with you to determine what attire to wear (all black, tuxedos, or other attire), help you to select repertoire from our list, and advise you in the selection of your custom arrangement that is included with every booking. Here are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions: Why should I choose Clarity Brass to play at my ceremony, rather than have my reception band provide this music? Often, reception bands will offer to provide stock music for your ceremony. They will often book trumpet and keyboard, and offer little in the way of customization. In addition, this means you have to worry about providing power for the keyboard player. With Clarity Brass, you get a group that needs nothing more than 4 chairs, and a completely customized solution that ensures you hear the music you want to hear at your ceremony. Why should I choose Clarity Brass for my corporate event? While some corporate events are a party with a dance band, some are more understated affairs where you want your clients and employees to be able to socialize and enjoy a meal. In those situations, Clarity Brass can provide background music to entertain while remaining low-key and understated. How can I hear Clarity Brass? Simply go listen to our audio samples to play our most popular wedding ceremony music. If you don't hear what you need, we can create custom arrangements to suit your needs; just ask. Brass music is perfectly suited to a variety of locations, from churches to outdoor events. The advantage of brass is it requires no amplification - so, no electricity. We can be heard in noisier environments such as on a beach, and can play as soft or as loud as needed to work in any situation. Do you require a deposit? We require a 50% deposit to lock in any booking. Where can I book you? We perform anywhere. Our main territory is the NYC metro area (including Northern NJ, Western Long Island, and Southern Westchester). Other areas will incur extra fees and travel expenses - we will work with you to determine an exact rate when you contact us. Can you help with the wedding reception? While we have more than enough repertoire to perform for a wedding reception, we are not a traditional dance band.
