About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

SLINGSHOT is a high energy Classic Rock band who not only pumps out an infectious sound but backs it up with a show, as Mirk and Randy lay down a rock solid foundation and on stage antics, Joe walks thru the audience playing behind his head, then with his teeth with in your face guitar licks. That with the PRO Sound, set the scene that gets the crowd pumped and up dancing. SLINGSHOT was originally formed in 1977. Mirk Richardson, one of the founding members, Performed 8 years with Slingshot. Everyone went their separate ways in 1985 but in 2000 SLINGSHOT regrouped adding Joe McMahon on guitar and vocals, and Randy Wakefield on Drums and vocals. With the addition of midi implementation the band has rich full Horns, Strings & Keys that only add to the already powerful sound! We are a Premier Classic Rock Band that plays at Cook's Corner 3 times a month. We play at Perqs, Harvey's SteakHouse, Tumbleweeds, Nadine's Irish Mist, Mother's Tavern, The GasLamp, Don The Beachcomber's in Huntington Beach, The Blarney Stone in Fountain Valley, The Blue Beet in Newport Beach, Breakaway Bar in Tustin, Original Mike's in Santa Ana, The Clubhouse in Placentia, Mickie Finnz in Redondo Beach...& we also play at Rudy's, Friends, Los Cabos Cantina, Our Place, Daily's Sports Bar, The Stadium Brewing Co, Swallows Inn, The Marine Room, The Surfin' Cowboy etc. in South County.
