The Jimmy Williams Band Classic Rock Band from Folsom, CA

We are a classic rock, southern rock, blues power trio. “Sweet” Jimmy Williams, Lead Vocalist/Lead Guitarist and proud native of Rio Linda, California. His emotionally charged guitar licks have earned him the nickname "sweet" bestowed upon him by members of the Elvin Bishop Band. Jimmy started playing clubs in high school at age 17. He has performed with his band Crosscut as well as The Dangerous Dam Band that included members of Elvin Bishop's band. He has also played for Toucan Barking, Lightning Hand, Keep on Truckin' and The Jimmy Williams Band. Jimmy has opened for Elvin Bishop, Savoy Brown, Randy Hansen, Maria Muldaur, Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, Junior Wells, and many others. On Bass: Drew has played and sang in various bands in the Sacramento region since the early 90s. With a wide variety of musical influences including 90s grunge, 80s metal, 70s funk, 60s psychedelic music, R&B/hip-hop, jazz, country, and the great jam bands any era, he brings a solid foundation and steady pocket playing to the band. On Drums: JR Utah has been an ongoing musician in several successful bands throughout the Sacramento valley region. His drumming style is rooted in progressive rock with a versatility and style to perform in several other genres. With his extensive recording and live performance experience, Hes a great talent for any musical situation.
