I started playing in my first wedding band, Take Five in 1978. I have been playing, steadily, in various types of groups since. I have worked all over the east coast and also have done some work in Las Vegas and over-seas. I have opened up for some well known bands, Scandal, The Romantics. I have played mandolin for some well known celebrities, Regis Philman, Merv Griffin,Tony Danza, Tom Jones, Reba McIntyre, the Beach Boys, Mahammad Ali... I currently play mandolin in Atlantic City (for the past 14 years) and have played guitar for over 25 years. I have played violin at weddings and I am looking for more private work, weddings, anniversaries,private parties. I have studied guitar with some jazz greats, Jimi Bruno, Al Stouffer, Joe Federico and I am currently studying classical violin with Wallace De Pue. I have also studied with (fiddling champion) Alex De Pue.
I can do solo work, duo or trio whichever the client prefers.
I play all styles of music, my specialties are Italian, International,Show Tunes, Standards, Jazz, Rock, oldies and Top 40 Music.

I hired Susan Salmon for my wedding ceremony on Jan. 9 2010.
I had never hired professional musicians for an event before, but because of her experience, professionalism, and positive attitude, she made me feel very confident that everything would go smoothly. She is able to play music from many different genres from classical to pop, which was great for me since my musical tastes are very eclectic. The ceremony was beautiful and Susan was a big part of that. Many of my guests commented on how great the music sounded, and I really could not have been any happier with the way it turned out. Thank you Susan!
