Having put together weddings of countless different themes (Beatles, Baroque, Van Morrison, Hawaiian, Mexican Folk, Spanish Romantic, Classical, Flamenco, Jason Mraz, French Classics, Cole Porter, Bach, and Led Zeppelin just to name a few of the ones that are often requested), Covey Music can and will bring your image to life. A typical wedding provided by Covey Music can go as follows: a solo musician or small ensemble will arrive one hour before the commencement of the ceremony to provide prelude music while the guests arrive, music during the special moments of the ceremony as requested by clients, and postlude music until the guests clear the area. Afterwards, the same or different ensemble will provide music will for the reception while the guests enjoy their cocktails and appetizers. Additionally, music will be provided during dinner. Lastly, a band contracted by Covey Music will perform for the guests ending the night with a vivacious party. If you would like Covey Music to organize the music for the entire wedding, great! If only want music provided for one or two parts of the wedding, we are delighted to help with that too! Covey Music is at your service. About: Mark Covey, owner of Covey Music, is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. He has been immersed in music his entire life. He began studies in classical guitar, voice, and piano in his childhood. With a diverse set of skills, Mark has become a very experienced musician, having performed in classical and Latin ensembles, operas, solo guitar, vocal, and piano recitals and concerts in America and Europe. Mark has been performing for weddings and all kinds of private events since he was 16 years old. Playing professionally for so many years, he has developed an immensely broad repertoire and can effectively customize programs based on the taste and ideas of each of his clients. Having now begun Covey Music, Mark is now offering even more variety to his clients, including classical, rock, latin, and Jazz duos, trios, and bands. With his expertise, Mark hand-picks and contracts the musicians, recognized professionals in their field, himself and often performs with them. With Mark's leadership, Covey Music specializes in bringing world-class music coupled with extraordinary professionalism to his clients. Mark is a graduate of Pepperdine University and the University of California Santa Barbara where he holds a Bachelors, Masters, and Doctor of Music degrees in Music Performance.
