Hi and Welcome to my Profile page! I am available to play guitar at your special event in the styles of classical, jazz, Latin, flamenco, contemporary, including folk rock, pop and originals. I am happy to play classical only - or classical sprinkled with other styles and with vocals as desired depending on the event. I bring with me a Bose L1 PA suitable for up to about one hundred guests. This PA is generally adequate for most venues. For larger venues I will bring a larger PA. A partial list of my repertoire appears below under "Songs." For remote locations and when the weather is nice, I can bring auxiliary electric power with a battery and inverter to power my PA. I've played guitar for many years and learned classical guitar beginning at age eleven in Guadalajara, Mexico, and have studied with a number of teachers, including Fernando Martinez, Robert Bluestone, Saul Gropeman, and jazz guitar with the legendary Chuck Wayne. I also write songs in a pop/rock acoustic style and have several CDs currently available on CD Baby and most streaming services. I believe music should reflect harmony in all ways and bring peace and joy to any occasion. I look forward to making a contribution to your next event with music.
