Stacy Arnold is a professional classical guitarist, concert artist, and university classical guitar professor in Dallas, Texas who has performed concerts, weddings, and private event occasions over the past 30 years and will provide an elegant, beautiful, and sophisticated musical setting for your wedding day or an elegant musical ambiance for your special event occasion. Stacy Arnold has performed hundreds of weddings and private event occasions, including distinguished private performances for Ferrari, Aston Martin of Dallas, Lockheed Martin, celebrity chefs Stephan Pyles and Kent Rathbun, Baylor, Scott and White Health, Live! by Loews Hotel, and The Fluor Corporation. Stacy Arnold holds a Master of Music degree in guitar performance from Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts and is professor of classical guitar studies at Dallas Baptist University and Trinity Valley Community College where he directs the classical guitar program. Stacy Arnold performs weddings and private event occasions using the 2Mic Pro internal condenser microphones ( 2 mics inside the guitar) and the TourMic wireless system with a small 60-watt state-of-the art amplifier designed by Audio Electric Research (AER) "The Acoustic People." The result is the freedom to perform without being tied to cables, wires, or the amplifier and to perform with a transparent quality that captures the beautiful acoustics of the classical guitar to provide both elegance and discretion for an ideal musical setting for performances. ABOUT THE ARTIST | CONCERTS Stacy Arnold is a professional concert artist and is recognized for his artistry as a concert soloist, recording artist, and educator whose concert performance has been described by the Evangel University Artist Series as "a variety of guitar music, stylistically pleasing in every way" and applauded for his innate musicianship, virtuosity, and beautiful tone. The Cass County Performing Arts Council has described his concert appearance as "generous and delightful." Mr. Arnold has toured throughout the United States at Universities, Colleges, Arts organizations, music festivals, and various concert and artist series. Mr. Arnold's concerts are characterized by performances that represent the entire history of the guitar, presenting composers from the 16th century Renaissance to the modern day, with an emphasis on the music of Spain and Latin America. Mr. Arnold holds a Master of Music degree in guitar performance from Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts where he was a scholarship student and graduate teaching assistant under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed concert guitarist and teacher Robert Guthrie. He also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in guitar performance from Middle Tennessee State University where he studied under the guidance of Dr. William Yelverton. WEDDINGS The elegant sound of the classical guitar will provide a beautiful musical setting for your wedding day. The music selections for this special day include a variety of choices ranging from the popular wedding music of " A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, "Canon in D" (Pachelbel's Canon), "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley, "Ave Maria", "Marry Me" by Train, "Air on a G String", "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", "The Wedding March", "The Bridal Chorus", "The Trumpet Voluntary" to traditional, contemporary, romantic, Spanish, Classical, Latin, Hymns & Worship, Renaissance, and Baroque music selections. Wedding locations have included a variety of settings ranging from cathedrals and churches, historic homes, botanical gardens, country clubs, picturesque Texas ranches, luxurious hotels, and private residences. Special music requests for a bride's processional and other areas of the ceremony are available to make this special day a personal, elegant, and beautiful occasion. PRIVATE EVENTS | CORPORATE EVENTS Event performances include performances for a variety of both personal, professional and corporate occasions. Stacy Arnold's performance will provide a beautiful and elegant musical ambiance for your special occasion. Performances for private events include an eclectic variety of music that includes the Choros, Waltzes, and Jazz-influenced Sambas of Latin America, a variety of Spanish composers, as well as music from the 16th century Renaissance to the Modern-Day.
