Elaine studied the harp at the MacPhail Music Center with Kathy Kienzle, principal harpist of the Minnesota Orchestra. She regularly shares her music at the Maple Grove Hospital's patients. Besides accompanied the Cantabile Singers, a sacred choral group, the Northeast orchestra and Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra. When Garrison Keillor returned to Minnesota, Elaine performed for his reception in Anoka. As a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Harp Society, she has also served as secretary/editor. The Minneapolis Tribune newspaper featured Elaine in an article highlighting her launching a new career in the harp world. Elaine has also produced several CD recordings with additional professional musicians joining her in these recordings. She continues to seek out new music and arranges and adapts these delightful songs for the harp.
