Dr. James reached out immediately after I requested a quote for my event! Shortly after I booked online he also messaged me directly via The Bash messaging service, just to let me know he was excited to join us and to let him know if I had any questions. I went to the venue to confirm set up layouts with the director of events and he mentioned that Dr. James had already come by that Monday(!) to introduce himself and so he could be prepared on the day of the event. I arrived at our location almost an hour and a half before the start time and Dr. James beat me there. Though I was busy checking in guests and working behind the scenes, I heard nothing but compliments!

I hired Dr. KC James as a violinist for my organization's Christmas party. I came across his information by "accident" as I was online looking for a harpist. I decided to hire a violinist as well, and I was not disappointed. We spoke a few times over the phone to discuss the details and expectations of the event. He was very attentive, courteous and professional. His performance added that unique, special touch of class to our event. I would highly recommend him for a wedding, Christmas party, etc.

Dr. James was fantastic. Talented, enjoyable, professional and gracious.
Advance communication was great. He asked if there were any special requests. I had none and since it was a surprise for my wife, I couldn't ask her. During the time he played for us, my wife asked several times 'can you play' this song. Every time, he either had the music or did it by memory.
If you are looking for a violinist, I would highly recommend him.
It made for a memorable 50th anniversary event.
Even though we exceeded our booked time, he played on without hesitation. I gave him an extra tip for the time but he never asked for it.

Dr. James was the absolute highlight of our wedding! He played a beautiful selection of classical music for our ceremony and social hour. Dr. James is a wonderfully talented musician and a warm and friendly person. He coordinated an anniversary surprise for my wife completely by text to be discreet. He arrived early - and OVER delivered. Like a true professional, he brought equipment that I didn't even know he would need (speaker for amplification on the beach, due to ambient wave noise). He prepared all of the music I asked for, and also continued playing several other selections that were appropriate for the occasion. Dr. K.C. is a talented, patient and gracious professional player. We were scrambling with our wedding less than 3 weeks away when we contacted him. It was a very short time after that we had a quote, feedback on music selections and K.C. had even already visited the venue. Our wedding was a beautiful dream and we are so grateful for the experience that was created for us.
