Encore String Quartet is a string group composed of four professional musicians with over 25 years experience in chamber music and symphony performances. We are all members of the North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra in Fayetteville. Our group has an extensive repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music to make your occassion memorable. We perform wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate functions, reunions, anniversaries, graduations, and any other event from casual to formal. We will assist you in selecting music that is meaningful to you for your special day. Encore String Quartet is committed to providing elegance and excellance to your celebration. We can provide a CD and DVD of the quartet, and a music library at your request.

The wedding was to begin at 6PM. I asked Encore String Quartet to begin playing at 5PM and play until 5:45PM. They did not begin until 5:17PM and our organist cut her program short so the quartet could get in as much playing time before the service. We had the quartet stop playing at about 5:53PM. Considering the timing and the 200+ guests in attendance, the wedding had to start on time. The quartet did play after the service as requested for the additional 15 minutes. The contract was for 1 hour total.
