Millington Strings performs most often as a string quartet: two violins, viola and cello. Clients occasionally request a quintet (with string bass), a trio, duo or even a solo performer, and we are happy to accommodate. While we frequently perform the more usual classical string quartet literature, we have a wide and eclectic repertoire, ranging from pop, blues, jazz, and opera favorites, to ethnic, ragtime and rock music from all eras. The group's founder and leader, Steve Millington, is also a composer/arranger, which contributes to the unusual and uniquely wide-ranging repertoire we can provide. We welcome special requests and will create custom arrangements of music not in our active repertoire. We have a few of our videos here on the Bash site, and will provide more upon request.
