LMX DJ from Bozeman, MT

Hello! Gabe Lemieux here, I’m 30 years old, from Bozeman Montana, I’m been a dj for 9 years. I’m experienced with doing weddings, bars, clubs, special events. I’ve been involved in music since I was 6, playing the guitar, bass and drums. Was in a band, also played for a church back in the day. Since then, some of my best friends were dj’s and I had an ear for beat matching. I learned on a computer with no turntables, eventually worked my way to purchasing gear, and practicing every night, till I got hired at the bars and clubs that I’m at today, as their lead/main dj. I believe there are different types of djs, there are your wedding djs that are all about presentation and the crowd doesn’t care if you mix as long as you play what they want, and there are bar/club djs where the beat never stops (unless intentional) and every transition is important. I feed off the crowd, and they feed off me. I play a wide range of music, but my main focus leans towards high energy dance, festival, tech house, remixes of popular songs. That is a little about me, I have my own equipment and lights, I personally am looking for more of the club scene when I only need to bring my computer and deck but I will entertain just about anything higher end.
