One of the funniest and most energetic performers to emerge from New York’s comedy and music scene, Evan combines stand-up, songwriting, and spontaneous audience interaction into a one-of-a-kind experience. Often compared to comedic superstars Adam Sandler and Stephen Lynch, Evan brings the same mix of heart, humor, and hilarity—only with his own fearless twist. A product of New York’s legendary comedy clubs, Evan honed his craft by studying the city’s best before sharing the stage with some of them, including The Tonight Show’s Mitch Fatel and Last Comic Standing’s Jessica Kirson. On Long Island, he built a loyal following hosting music nights and performing at iconic venues like Governor’s Comedy Cabaret, The Downtown, and Munchaba Lounge. After becoming a three-time Long Island Laff-Off Finalist and releasing his live album Live at The Bitter End, Evan made the leap to Los Angeles. It paid off quickly: he debuted on VH1’s I Love the 80s 3D, then appeared in I Love the 70s II, I Love Toys, and several E! and AMC specials, where he shared his comic takes on everything from celebrity feuds to Terminator 2. Evan’s original comedy songs earned airplay on XM, Sirius, and the Dr. Demento Radio Show, and his high-energy touring schedule hit over 100 shows a year. Campus Activities Magazine named him one of their “Hot Comedy Acts,” and soon after, he taped NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Evan also co-created and starred in College The Musical: A Musical About College alongside his wife, actress-comedian Kelly Meyersfield, while releasing his first full-length album, LOL, through Uproar Entertainment. Beyond TV and touring, Evan has become a favorite at corporate events, conventions, and late-night high school grad parties, performing for audiences as late (or early) as 4:00 a.m. He’s appeared in commercials for ESPN, performed on TBS’s Conan, and even provided the singing voice for the now-infamous “Human Centipede Menorah.” When a YouTube video featuring Evan and his two-year-old son Beckett Sage went viral—showing Beckett naming 20 WWE themes in under two minutes—millions more discovered the quick wit and heart behind the humor.
