We had a great time with our magician/comedian, A Card Shark. He was every entertaining and very accommodating for the large age range we had at our birthday party. Firstly, he did a show, in which he had everyone on the edge of their seat amazed and laughing. Ages ranged from 3-72. Then he traveled around the room and did tricks and magic to suit the different ages. He had all ages entertained. The adults loved him as well as the children. I am very pleased with the service A card Shark provided for this party. He took his time and adjusted his talents to please young and old alike. A few of my guest even took his name down!

Mr. Merl performed at our house for my daughter's 6th birthday party. Both kids and adults enjoyed the performance and had fun. Mr. Merl was very professional and pleasure to work with.

We had mr. Merl as a hypnotist. The seniors say that was the best part of their night. Mr. Merl did an awesome job with our young adults. The price was great for the services that we received. I know in the future we will use his services again. Thank you Mr. Merl for a night I know the students will never forget. My sons birthday was a blast, the kids loved the magic show. Mr. Hamen was great he showed each child special attention if they needed it and was in no hurry. I would used him again. Thanks for making a great day special.

Our experience was definitely a great one! We had several children at the end of the show begging for more balloon animals and Merle was very patient and even stayed longer than planned to be sure each child got what they wanted. Everyone had a great time and he managed to keep the attention of about 15 children for the duration of the show!

I have to say that the kids loved him - he had everyone's full attention which is hard to do for a group of 5 year olds. The parents were thoroughly entertained as well. He kept the kids involved and they were all very happy. He was on time and very, very pleasant. I would definitely refer him to all of my friends and neighbors and will probably be booking him again for other events.

Merl The Magician was "AWESOME"!! All of the kids loved him and my son had a blast! He made my son feel special on his birthday as well as the other children! I would highly recommend him to other people!

He came in as our banquet was starting to set up his sound system. We were having interviews with a tv station and him testing his equipment was not professional. He did not have to perform until after 8pm but the banquet started at 7pm with speakers and awards. He should have had his system set up before the banquet started. I had too many people tell me to get my money back. If it had not been for one of the participants from our audience acting silly he, may have been asked to stop. I don't like to give negative feedback, but this is the second time you have asked. I'm sorry but , no I would not recommend him to anyone especially a friend.

I was not aware of the TV interview until this response. I was there at 6:00 to set up and did not go on until almost 9:00. Hypnosis is a subjective entertainment depending entire upon audience participation and response. It was very hard to get the necessary volunteers and as a group, they were very careful not to let their "guard" down. I am sure they were afraid they might act "silly". It was not one of my better shows!

I need to clarify my marks for Merl, I hired Merl for a 4 year old birthday party and I was very specific about only wanting magic that would entertain 3-4 year olds. Some of the tricks were not appropriate and some were over their heads. I think Merl does a great job for older crowds but I would not recommend him for children under 10 unless he changes his act.

Merle could not have been more fun! He really worked the room and as a result our team won the contest for the best booth! He was fantastic!!!
