I’m a healthcare lawyer and political and legal analyst regularly featured on Fox News, the BBC, SkyNews, Newsmax and NewsNation. I spent over a decade working in Washington, DC, starting my career at the Pentagon as a native Farsi speaker just days after 9/11, then as a healthcare attorney in the U.S Senate during the passage of the Affordable Care Act. After that, I joined Corporate America to lead the lobbying efforts for the blockbuster weight loss drug Ozempic at Novo Nordisk, and then went on to be one of the youngest partners at a global law firm, K&L Gates, leading their healthcare policy practice. At the age of 40, I decided to run for Congress in Florida. Though I lost in the primary, I raised over $1 million and earned the endorsements of top Congressional leadership in Washington. As a native of Iran, who escaped with my family after the fall of the Shah in 1979, we escaped religious persecution to legally immigrate to the U.S. While dealing with poverty and the challenges of a language barrier, my father worked menial jobs to put himself through school to become an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, which he is to this very day. It’s the American Dream story that is within reach of everyone who works hard and has a desire to succeed and this story of success is what I love to share with people of all backgrounds. I primarily like to share any of the following for your audience: a political message, an American Dream message that is uplifting and inspirational, a story of my journey to Christ, and how I was able to overcome a chronic disease, diabetes; through diet and exercise, reversing the course of my life.
