EMPOWER Corporate Speaker from Tucson, AZ

I am available to speak and do workshops for corporate training. I have two master's degrees in philosophy and clinical psychology. I also have graduate hours in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma related to team building, effective leadership, and group processes. I was chosen to be a consultant core trainer at the National Drug Education Center at the University of Oklahoma in 1973 and worked with them for a few months but the National Institute of Mental Health closed down the center unexpectedly because of a new administration in Washington. I taught as an adjunct graduate teaching assistant at Oklahoma in philosophy and also taught at the University of New Mexico in African American Studies for four years and at the University of Arizona in Religious Studies and African American Studies for 20 years. I was chosen to participate in the Oxford Roundtable at Oxford University in England while teaching at the University of Arizona and did so. I have done a personal growth workshop for persons from England and America on a safari in Kenya. I was keynote speaker for 800 parents, educators, and administrators for Tucson Unified School District sharing ideas about improving approaches to education through using methods related to what kids already are familiar with. I was keynote speaker for graduation at Catalina High School in 1991. I won an award for most influential teacher given by students in African American Studies. I developed approaches to teaching using film clips, rap, music, and then applying sophisticated critical theory to those. I have served as a clinical consultant at Cottonwood Tucson Rehab for 20 years leading groups dealing with trauma, addiction, relationships, spirituality, poetry, and music. I did human relations training for Mountain Bell Telephone, and Albuquerque Police Department in the '70's. I am available to help employees develop effective communication skills, teach them how to better take care of their mental health, and how to value each other as human beings.
