Also, Darlene & Kenny "The Nelsons" book as a duo, performing for numerous Senior Communities. Many satisfied clients! Typical performance fee is: $175.00-$225.00 (Twin Cities Metro/Western Wisconsin).

"DAB" has been garnering an increased fan base, simply because they are the "total package". With this fine group of musicians, and entertainers, you'll hear fun and exciting tunes by traditional country music artists as well as a mixture of some newer country, and 50-70's pop/rock hits.  Darlene And the Boys is a regular featured act on the RFD TV Network's "The Midwest Country Show". These shows air nationally on DISH NETWORK, DIRECT TV, FAMILY NET and other cable systems. Darlene And The Boys have performed consecutively since 2012 to capacity filled and very enthusiastic audiences at the Minnesota State Fair! Their popularity lead to (2) additional shows being added! They are looking forward to next season!

About The Band Leader- Darlene Nelson:

Darlene is an award winning vocalist/entertainer! She has performed on numerous TV/radio and stage shows with many stars of The Grand Ole Opry!
Most recently, Darlene appeared at many notable establishments in and around Nashville. Including: Tootsie's Orchid Lounge; Paradise Park; The Famous Saloon and the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater to name just a few. Darlene also appeared on the RFD TV Network's "The Shotgun Red Variety Show" which was taped in Nashville and aired nationally on DISH NETWORK, DIRECT TV, FAMILY NET and other cable systems. Darlene has performed on the Ernest Tubb's Record Shop Midnight Jamboree many times. This program airs on "The Legend" WSM650. She has also recorded at Hilltop Studios in Madison, Tennessee.

Darlene And The Boys have been described by many Event Promoters as the "perfect act" for a wide age demographic.
