Deep River Country Band from Asheville, NC

Deep River is Asheville's Premier Country Vocal Group performing both originals and country favorites primarily from the '80s and '90s including songs by Patty Loveless, Kathy Mattea, Diamond Rio, Highway 101, Restless Heart and Shenandoah plus '70's crossover favorites from The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby Stills & Nash, Pure Prairie League and The Beatles. We also mix in some contemporary country radio hits by the likes of Lady Antebellum and Keith Urban. Our style is country but includes bluegrass, blues, Cajun, rock, folk and pop. Audiences love to sing along and/or dance to Deep River music! In our Nashville days we opened for Vince Gill, Mark Wills, Wilma Lee Cooper and Charlie Louvin, and one of our original songs, Silver Eagle, received a little radio airplay on small market country stations. More recently, Asheville's KISS Country 99 has played our original song, Civil War. Deep River is fronted by three female vocalists who all sing lead and harmony vocals, one of whom also plays acoustic-electric guitar and one of whom also plays bass guitar. Additional members include three very talented guys who play pedal steel/dobro, lead guitar and drums. Our trademark sound is beautiful, three-part harmonies!
