IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ENTERTAINMENT THEN THIS 2 MINUTE READ IS A GREAT RESOURCE! My name is Jonny Kumfert and I am a musician and lead singer of the E Boro Bandits. I used to sing for multiple agents. However, after watching them rip off clients and musicians I decided to start my own agency. There are 4 types of musicians /bands on these band platforms. 1. Really Bad Bands - Chances are if your gig is last minute there is a reason why they are still available. 2. Really Good Bands/professional bands - Most good bands like the E Boro Bandits often book 6-12 months in advance. Professional bands that rely on music as their only source of income fill up their schedule way in advance to ensure they can pay their bills. 3. Slimey Agents - Watch out for these guys. They charge an absurd amount of money so the client thinks they are getting the best musicians. However, they often just throw a band together, paying the band as little as possible and keeping as much as possible for themselves. It was actually mind blowing to see this. Often the client had no idea the band was subpar as they do not have the same musical ear as a musician does. Make sure to ask for video and get the guarantee that the musicians coming are in said video. I know an agent on here that had the band sent home after the first set by the client because it was not what they paid for. Can you imagine paying top dollar for a band only to be so upset with their performance that you sent them home after the first set!!! 4. Branded Music Group - I am a teacher by day. I pay my musicians well and keep very little for myself which ensures the best everytime. I am around music everyday. I run an open mic night, a country night as well as film about 4-5 acts per week. I can tell in 10 seconds if a musician has the “IT” factor as evident in Branded Music Group’s 140 plus 5 star reviews on google. My band (E Boro Bandits) does not fill up the schedule with bar gigs because we get so much private work. If we are booked or not the right fit I know the best and have at least 100 musicians/friends I can call to make sure you have the best. If this is last minute I can find the best that happens to be off. Branded Music Group has all genres of entertainment including but not limited too.
