No Show Strangers Country Band from Clarksville, TN

We play country music that's actually country music. Our name pays homage to two of the greatest legends of all time, George "No Show" Jones and Merle Haggard and the Strangers. With us, you can count on hearing authentic classic country music and some new original tunes soaked in these traditional roots. On guitar and vocals is Ken Glisch. He spent several years on the road with a bluegrass band out of Atlanta, GA, but his true musical passion has always been classic country. Ken's goal with the No Show Strangers is to honor the musical tradition that he loves while also mixing in some acoustic/bluegrass elements. Ken has been especially influenced by the music of Merle Haggard which permeates his songwriting and live performances. Amelia Brown plays dobro and sings lead and harmony. She also has a background in bluegrass music, but with the No Show Strangers, her dobro serves as our acoustic version of a steel guitar. She rounds out the band with style and beauty. Holding things together on the bass is Tyler Graber. He is a fellow lover of traditional country music and we have him to thank for keeping time and thumping out rhythm.
