With a big smile and great songs, Sandra Piller lights up a room! Sandra Piller may have been born and raised in Southern California, but she has always been a country girl at heart: “ I really enjoy the storytelling aspect of country songs.” ?With vocals reminiscent of Allison Krauss and Lee Ann Womack, Sandra was named "Best New Female Country Artist of 2009" by New Music Weekly, and "Best Female Country Artist of 2010." Her single, "I Cross That Bridge," was #1 on the NMW Country music charts for three straight weeks. The title track from her 2011 "Days Like These" CD hit the Music Row charts and was Top Ten on the New Music Weekly country chart. With her band of seasoned musicians, "The Wildcards," Sandra's show brings a terrific mix of covers and original country music framed by great harmonies and musicianship. Playing nightclubs, fairs, and songwriter rounds in Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York City, Sandra has performed her country music at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe and Douglas Corner Cafe (and even at a Nashville Star Trek Convention); at New York's The Bitter End; and at Los Angeles' Genghis Cohen, LAWIM (Los Angeles Women in Music) events, and Toys for Tots fundraisers.
