Bringing back real country music one gig at a time. Music from George, Merle, Hank, Buck, Dwight, Garth, Tom Petty and many more. From classics to the golden age 90s Smokey and the boys take you on a tour through several decades of great country music while keeping the crowd dancing and having a great time. Swing dancing, two stepping, line dancing, slow twirling and bull riding are all highly encouraged. The band has opened up for several country music legends including David Allan Coe and have toured all over the southeast playing event spaces ranging in size from living room sized to as large as Suntrust Park.
A kicking country and southern rock band that are seasoned professionals and can cater to any event environment ranging from restaraunts to corporate spaces, to family events and weddings. Smokey Jones and the $3 Pistols were FABULOUS! They are talented well beyond a 5-star rating, and they were excellent in terms of getting the crowd involved and excited. Our yearly social event includes a wide range of ages, from 20s to 80s. I am happy to say that EVERYONE had an absolute blast at the party. The dance floor was packed as long as Smokey Jones and the band played, and there was even a cry for an encore after they played their last tune (they did provide an encore). I received several comments from members in our club that this was the best party we have ever had. I attribute this to the excellence of the band. HIRE THIS BAND! They will not disappoint!
